Begginers help, Adding rows to a table

Hi I have been trying to do this for a while and keep comming up with an error I am working in VB and have used several different methods to try and add a row to a table in infopath 2007 and always get an invalidOperationException come up because the current state of the object is read only so I cannot access it. I also get the same message if I try and change the property of an object such as the text in a text box, could someone please lend a hand and show me the proper way to do this or show the me the infopath setting I have missed :-) Many thanks

Into what type of event handler are you putting the code.  The form's data can only be modified from certain types of event handlers such as OnAfterChange and button clicks.

Re: Begginers help, Adding rows to a table

I was trying to use it in a text boxes .Changing or .Changed event is it not possible to do this? The reason for trying to do it here is to produce a method of tracking changes to certain text fields by adding data to a table further down the form Cheers!
