Cannot find or access the web server

I'm trying to publish a form to a Sharepoint site document library.  I've been able to do this in the past on this particular machine, but now it's failing.  I'm stuck at the step after I choose to publish to a Sharepoint server.  I've entered my site url, but I get the error message: "Infopath cannot find or cannot access the following Web server: http://<servername>:<port #>.  Make sure that the web server name is valid, that your proxy settings are correct, and that you have the necessary permissions to publish to this library.  If the server requires you to log on through the browser, log on there and select the option to remember your login information, then try to publish again."

I am giving it the url of a site where Enterprise Site Collection Features are enabled, and I have owner priveleges.  What could have caused the publishing error to start occurring?

    hi David,

make yourself site collection administrator, on the particular site, that should resolve your problem.

I'm afraid it's not quite that simple.  I'm already a site collection administrator on the site where I'm trying to publish.

    Other ideas?

only one it might sound sort of stupid, but believe me we face this kind of problems often. Check your logged in user in sharepoint.
