Unable to publish a browser-enabled form -- form is browser-compatible but "cannot be browser enabled on selected site"

I am running into an issue publishing a form to server.  When I try to publish I receive the error, "This form template is browser-compatible, but it cannot be browser enabled on the selected site."

The error lists the following possible causes:

    - The server is not running InfoPath Form Services

    - The necessary features are not available on the site collection

    - The policy setting on the server  does not allow users to browser-enable form templates

The problem is that I am able to publish other browser-compatible forms to the same server, so the above causes cannot be true.  I have checked to make sure that the browser options are the same for each form.  The only difference between the two forms is that one has its language set to en-us and the other to fr-ca.  Can anyone give me a hint as to what I can do to resolve this?

Change the forms trust level to domain or full trust

    Hi,

Please check the followingthing on the server where you are trying to publish your infopath form.

InfoPath Form service is available or not.

From central admin check that required feature are activated or not.

Hope this will solve your problem

My problems started after I tried to use content types.

Everything was working perfectly, then I activated content types. After that I cant upload ANY form in ANY site as browser-enabled... I get the same error message as jwinkis..

     Please help....

Well, just see to it if your infopath form has code behind it or not,if it has u have to publish it through Cenral Admin, and if it doesn't have you will find problem in publishing it through central admin,in that case u can publish your form directly to a form library. Before that make sure that your server has infopath forms services enabled and that you have activated Enterprise feature in ur Site itself plus you have to check that your sitecollection features also has Sharepoint Server Enterprise Site collection features activated. Then let me know,if it is still giving a problem, and i'm expecting that you have selected the full trust option in ur form security features.

In my case- I had imported a Word doc into InfoPath. To debug what was keeping the form from browser-enabling I took away pieces of the form and tried to publish until it successfully browser-enabled.

It was a text only portion of the form.

To fix the problem: select all of the form <ctrl> A, change the font to any font then change the font to your font of choice.

Save the form and publish. It will browser enable.
