I have a form linked to Qdabra & SharePoint with the Propagate Deletes working. Question is...

When a form is deleted from SharePoint it correctly delete it from Qdabra/SQL for me. The issue/question is that the form is present in the SharePoint Recycle Bin, and one could restore it from the bin back into SharePoint's form library. I could understand that this would not udpate the Qdabra Database/SQL being that the file was just moved from the SharePoint content Datbase from the recycle bin to the library. But I would have thought that should the user then open the newly recycled form and press the "Submit" button that the form would "Re-Submit" back into Qdabra/SQL but it does not.

Why would the form not resubmit after having been deleted?

Can i have forms re-submitted if after being deleted we recovered them from the recycle bin or is this not possible? If that's also not possible then what options do I have for backup/restore for a form in the case where someone deletes a form a few day's ago and askes that I recover it? I understand that the recovery would have to include the Qdabra database, but also SharePoint etc how would you suggest I prepare to recover a form in this case please?

Probably because the form has a DocID and that DocID was deleted. DBXL stores the DocID in the Processing Instruction (PI) of the document (at the top). If you take the XML and remove the DocID from the PI using notepad and then reopen and resubmit, I'm guessing it will create a new version.

Need to check but our free qRules 1.7 toolkit may have a function to remove the PI. If so, you could use that via a special button. Or, you could remove it manually and submit/import the form. Seems like a relatively rare scenario for you, no?
