    How to locate the x,y coordinates of a text box?

     I want to know the x,y coordinates (in pixel) of where my textbox is located.

    that way I can have this data: {name, x, y, width, height}

    How can I do this? Where is the x y coordinate data located?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi -- I don't know that there is a way to do this in InfoPath. We can't access controls in the code behind, only the data that is displayed in controls bound to data fields. I don't believe InfoPath exposes this information in any of its property windows, so that's out. The width and height you can find in the properties for a control, but I don't know of a way to get dynamic information about those things (like something that could update itself if those properties change).

    Thanks for your reply.

    If there is no solution I'll work around the problem by guessing the x,y coordinate using the the "save as source" option and logically understanding where they could be.
