Thank you Jimmy, and sorry at the same time.
Your example helped a lot, and I have almost completed what I need to do. However, I once again find myself stuck. I understand how you manipulated the XPATHS and filters to show the data, but this is what I actually have to have done:
I have a repeating table nested within repeating section. In the repeating table you enter the same data as above (The Number, and Types). I want users to be able to create several different repeating tables, and all that similar information to go to one other table outside of the repeating section.
I almost did this myself, but the table that is supposed to filter and add the numbers did two things wrong:
1. It did not filter according to each repeating section (ie. if you entered A and 1 in the table in the first section, and A and 2 in the table in the second section, the outside table that is supposed to filter everything still displayed two different A's one with 1 and one with 2) I just need help writing the expression that would filter this correctly.
2. It did not add values from other tables in other sections. (ie. if you entered A and 1 in the table in the first section, and A
and 2 in the table in the second section, the outside table that is
supposed to filter everything still displayed two different A's one
with 1 and one with 2(Once Again) So it did not add the values of the A's to be 3) I need help writing the Xpath expression for the value of the Expression Box.
Thank you very much for your help.
And also, could any uploaded infopath form please be saved as an infopath 2003 document, that would save a lot of time.
