Hi everyone,

I'm new to infopath and developing a form where I need to load user data in the format of "LastName, FirstName" which forms columns of a list. The form which I develope is browser enabled one.

Would someone help me on the above task.

Can you tell us more about what you are trying to do? Where does the user data that you want to load exist? SQL? SharePoint?

the user data are in a sharepoint list as two columns. Could I load both together in a dropdown in the format of "Last, First"?

Not that I know of. Can you add a calculated column to your SharePoint list that concats the fields and use that for your drop down?

I tried doing it. But when I tried to connect the list to the infopath form using data connection the calculated columns are not listed down in the select column list. I there any way that I can pass through these calculated columns to the form?

I'm sorry -- I didn't realize that calculated columns wouldn't be available. I'm not sure how you'd be able to do this without code at this point. Hopefully someone else will know of a way....
