I have a form with Submit Re-submit, Approve, Deny, Mark Processed and Mark Shipped Complete

I want to set the txtStatus field and to submit the form with each button.  However, when you make a change to one it changes them all. 

So you need to use the Rules and Custom Code or the update form Action but then how would you submit the form?

I am fairly new and using visual studio 2008 and C#

Hi -- so you have all these buttons set to use 'Submit' as their action and then you are setting Submit to use rules? If so, then yes, all will change when you set the Submit options.

However, you can use rules for each button. The first action would be to set your field to whatever value you like, the second action would be to Submit the form, and you select the submit data connection you wish to use.
