I have a two views on my form:

one view has some fields - if there is any validation errors - Next button(to go to 2nd view) should be disabled.

I am using hidden field called Dummy to pass the value to the button. And then I am applying conditional formatting to the button. If hidden variable is false, then disable the button, Below is the code I am using.

If form has errors in input, it is throwing message. But, if form has no errors,

{

var error; error = XDocument.Errors.Count; if (error!= 0) XDocument.UI.Alert("You have not filled all required fields"); if (error == 0) XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("/my:myfields/my:Dummy").text = "TRUE";

 }

Am I doing anything wrong in passing the value?

Buttons don't have values, so what do you mean when you say you're passing a value to it? Do you just mean you are setting a value in the Dummy and then basing the button's conditional formatting off of the Dummy field?

Yes, I am trying to set a value to the button using dummy field and then using button's conditional formatting of the Dummy field. Somehow, it is not working fine. Here is my code:

var error;

 error = XDocument.Errors.Count;

 if (error!= 0) XDocument.UI.Alert("You have not filled all required fields");

And then I am using this field in button's conditional formatting. Am I doing something wrong here in specifying single node. Please advise.

I still don't understand.  Buttons don't have values, so how can you pass a value to one? I can't help with the code, but I'm sure someone else here can easily analyze your code.
