InfoPath Dev

I am using the contact selector on my browser form, and it is working fine, with the exception that is is extremely slow.  We have two SharePoint environments, with seperate ADs.  Our external environment with probably a very small AD, returns in less than a second. Our other AD for our internal environment, which I assume is quite large, takes over 30 seconds to return results. 

Any suggestions? Or is this just the way it is: live with its horrible performance or write your own code

It seems it was not this control, but searching AD in SharePoint period.  Actually all over SharePoint to find a user was taking forever.  The fix was to issue some commands via stsadmin to set a path parameter for searching AD, which solved the problem.  Found the solution via google.  Guess I was too suspicious of the poor misunderstood contact selector.

Good man.  :)  That's probably why you got no responses.  I had never personally experienced this with my Contact Selectors.
