InfoPath Dev

Hi, I need to make a textbox with autocomplete functionality. When the user types the name of a person, the textbox should suggests the names of persons with a matching name. The functionality that i need is like the functionality existent in outlook to complete de email recipient. Is there any way to accomplish this with InfoPath 2007?

Hi Juan Pablo and welcome,

InfoPath uses Internet Explorer's built-in auto-complete which remembers previously typed in values for a field. So, it is supported out-of-the-box. You can try it! :)

Another option is to just use a dropdown and type in the first characters of the selection (i.e. use type-ahead)
