Populate a drop down list box with all the usernames from AD

We purchased and installed the AD web service.  It appears to work well.

Is it possible to populate a drop down list box with all the usernames from AD?

I could not find a way to do it but I am not proficient with Infopath 2003.

    Hi lads,

I'm having the very same problem and would really appreciate help if ye can provide it. I'm using Infopath 2007 though. Is there a web service built in to Sharepoint that I can use?

At the moment, the only interaction with web services I am having is to call the current users email from active directory and display it in a textbox. For this I am using the Web Service 'http://<servername>/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx?WSDL' with the operation 'GetUserProfileByName'. Can I use a Web Service like this to populate a drop down list with all the Email addresses or usernames from Active Directory?

    Thanks a million,

    Ben

I'm facing the same problem i'm not able to get the users from active directory using the following link : 'http://<servername>/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx?WSDL'  in my dataconnections in InfoPath 2007.

I'm using WSS 3.0 and i need to have all the users to populate them in a drop down list ...

    Any solution ??

    thanks

    Best Regards,

    Hi gmk,

I'm afraid I never found a solution. I ended up going a completely different way where retrieving all users from AD wasn't necessary.

Sorry I couldn't be of help. I just thought I'd let you know in case you were banking on this thread.

     All the best
