Repeating Table, issue displaying specific data in added rows

I have a repeating table with the fields Project Name (drop down list), Project Number (read only txt box), Category(read only txt box), and Status(read only txt box). There is a screenshot in the file attached if it helps anyone.

What I would like to do with it is when a Project is selected from the drop down menu the Project Number, Category and Status populate each field across with the appropriate information. I have been able to do this but any new rows show the number, category and status that correspond to the first entry in the list not the project selected in the new row

Good morning John.  I'm having the exact same problem.  And here's another twist. I have in my repeating section the following fields:

Student Name, Student ID, Course Description, Due Date, Date Completed

The Student Name field is a drop list.  The ID field is set to default to the student's ID with the selection the student name in the drop list.  (The ID comes from a secondary data source).

Say I select the student name John in my first record.  His ID field populates correctly based on the selection of his name.  I add a new record and select Susan.  Her ID field is populated with John's ID!  However, if I select Bob as my second entry (positioned above John in the student name drop list), Bob's ID populates correctly.  So if the subsequent records in the repeating section have a name that falls alphabetically in front of the name in the previous record, the ID populates correctly.  Otherwise they take the same ID as the last entry.

Famous Last Words: " No problem. It'll only take five minutes "
