Above is a repeating table of a form that I have created. The information in the Project Name drop down list is from a SharePoint list, and the PPM, Catagory, and Status are supposed to automaticly populate the textboxs based on the project selected. The problem is that all the fields reflect the project selected in the 1st row, not the project selected in the same row. (For this image both the PPM# and the Status reflect the DB2 V.9 Upgrade Project).

Are you using rules to populate the fields?  Try using default values on those fields with a filter.  You can also drag the entire repeating group from your secondary data source onto the canvas, and it will automatically repeat all the fields.  I realize you're providing a dropdown for selections, but you may be able to go down that path to figure it out.

Currently the fields are populated with a filter. The filter for the drop down menu lists only projects that the Project Leader in the top left is assigned to, and the filter for the PPM, Category and Status fields are set with a filter that returns the field that corresponds to the project selected from the drop down menu. I tried dragging and dropping the data source onto the canvas and it displayed the correct information, but when I added the additional columns where users could submit the % of time they were spending on a project for each month it would not allow for unique values, instead the value entered in an cell would repeat for that entire column.

Yes, I don't know how to mix secondary data source fields within a repeating table with main data source fields that I add.  You may need to recreate your entire secondary data source structure within the main data source, use the CopyTable qRule (free on this site) to copy the data from the SDC to MDC and then have your extra fields/columns added to that MDC table.

This is a common filter bug. This forum has several threads that discuss how to do it. Greg Collins has a blog on it too. You have to be careful and use the preceding-sibling. Regarding secondary and primary data sources, it's just xpath. You can get at both if you need to using the filter command. If the table is bound to the main data source and you are filtering a column based on a data source in a different column, you need to have some structure that contains both the parents and the children. Otherwise, filtering by definition won't work since it can't filter the children if it doesn't know which parent they belong to.
