Print all documents in WSS form library

    Hello

I would like to print all the forms that are in the WSS form library. I have created the print view so I am able to open each form and print it using the print view. Is there a way I can automate this so that I can grab all the forms, select the print view, and send it to the printer? Should I just create another Infopath form and write the scripts to perform this operation? I still don't know what API's I need to call. I would greatly appreciate your help.

    Regards

Hi Pu and welcome to our forum!
Yeah, this is tricky. You could use merge forms, load all forms into one form and print successively from that form (which will require Full Trust). You could also create a command line tool that opened one form after another. In that special "for printing" InfoPath form, use an OnLoad event handler to print the form and then close. Hope that works although it may not if there's a bunch of post initialization.

I would like to use the merge forms to load all the forms in a library and print them as well....  However, I would also like to do the converse of this.  Is there any way to save multiple instances of a form to a forms library in mass?  In other words, sort of like the old Word mail-merge functionality.  I need to pre-populate about 1,000 versions of an inspection form and save them all to a forms library.  Is there any easy way to do this?

     Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could create an Excel spreadsheet that contains rows for each form and use our XLS to XML tool to upload them.
