    Infopath 2003: hide form code

Hi I am a newbie to 2003...I want to know is there anyway to hide the VB form code in the InfoPath 2003 so a user cannot save a copy of the form and look at the logic behind?  Thanks in advance

When you publish the form, the code will be compiled into a DLL and this will be embedded in the XSN template.   As long as you distribute just the XSN, nobody will be able to see your code.

Thanks for your reply.  I just tried that with one of the XSN file here.

    1. Save a copy of the XSN file
    2. Right click on the XSN file, and then select "Design"
    3. It does give me some warnings, but if I persist, the form will open up in the design mode and if I click on any button and select "Edit form code", I can see all the JS behind the scene....

Alternatively, if I choose to "Extract form file", it generates all the xsl, xsd and the script.js, and I can still open up the script.js and see the code...

So is that me or I need to do a extra bit more?

    Thanks.

Code written as script (JScript or VBScript) is stored in the XSN and can't be concealed from users.  If you want to keep your form code secret, you will need to use compiled .NET code.
