hi guys

I have to text boxes in the form .

first text box :  I want to get the requested user a name USERNAME() and fill it in t form so that no one else cna edit this filed. so unchecked the update filed for the tex upon changes in the calculation

second text box : Should get the sharepoint current user name who edited the form in browser for approval .

so that i want to display a section based ont he secodn text box value.

we are giving only approvers in this form lib to have edit and delete rights. no one else will have.

all other user have create new items in the list permisions.  any pointer is appreciated.

Sounds pretty simple.  In the first text box, set the default value to userName().  No other configuration is required there.  For the second text box, create a rule in Form Options that sets it to the value of userName().  That way, each time it is opened, the 2nd text box will be populated with the current username, and that will be promoted to SharePoint when the form is re-saved/submitted.
