Submit Web-Enabled InfoPath Form Data to an Access Database

I have a browser-enabled InfoPath form hosted on SharePoint via Forms Services. I would like to configure the form to be able to submit data to an Access database. This is easy with non-web-enabled forms, but apparently not as straight-forward with browser-enabled forms.

Here's what I found on a Microsoft site: "To configure a browser-compatible form template to submit data to a database, use a data connection that submits data to a Web service that works with the database".

Can anyone provide some guidance on how to setup a web service that would work with an Access database?

    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Hi Aaron,

We provide a Web Service for SQL but not Access. Go to Qdabra.com, click Products, and DBXL and download it. You'll need to create a UDC file for the submit connection. The Web Service has tons of functionality and we have over 100 documents on this web site that explain how to use it. It's our most popular download and product for a reason - nobody has time to create Web Services...

Unfortunately, we don't support Access at this time. However, the Web Service does support SQL Express or MSDE (both free versions of SQL). Why not just install those and a free trial of our Web Service and have at?

    :)
