Something odd has been happening lately on my Sharepoint site that I can't figure out because it used to work the way I expected.
Tasks created by a workflow in Sharepoint do not link to their corresponding InfoPath Forms like they used to. Clicking on the task takes me to the detail view of the Task item, rather than the Task Form itself.
I create a new item in a document library that triggers my workflow. The workflow generates a Task that is associated to my task form (infopath form).
What used to happen (correctly):
The link for each task in the task list points to an instance of my Infopath Form.
Current problem:
All of a sudden, no matter what I do (even with the most basic and simple examples), when a task is generated, the link does NOT take me to the Infopath form. It takes me to the Task List item's detail view. So basically, it seems like the Infopath form is not attaching to the Task. I cannot figure out why this is happening. Perhaps I am forgetting a step that I used to do all the time and no longer doing? This is working fine for my old workflows on my site. BUt all my new code is behaving different. What am I missing here? Any help would be much appreciated.
My process is as follows:
-I use Visual Studio 2008 with VSTO to deploy workflows with Infopath forms
-I use Task Forms as opposed to Initiation or Association Forms.
-I build a WF off the 2007 state machine template and attach it to a doc library and a task list
-I create an Infopath Form, set it to be browser enabled, set the security to Full Trust, and set the URL of the site running Infopath Forms Services.
-I publish the Infopath form to the deployment folder of my WF
-I add the Infopath form's URN in workflow.xml and reference its name in Feature.xml
-Set createTask.TaskType to the one that corresponds to the TaskURN # in workflow.xml
-I deploy the WF using VS08
