Hi
Please, consider the following scenario.
Infopath 2007 forms are deployed on a shared network drive. Users should be able to open forms from outlook. When using the New->Open Infopath Form option a dialog pops up where the user can select the avaliable forms wheather from "recently opened" or "all forms". It is even possible to create favorites. Great.
The only problem is, that this dialog only contains forms that have been manually opened in infopath before. So if a new user wants to open infopath forms from outlook he has to open every form in infopath first. That´s not very handy. I´m looking for a mechanism to tell outlook where to look for infopath forms and show all forms avaliable for example in a shared drive.
Another idea would be to deploy a predefined list of favorites to appear in the open dialog on the users machine. Does anybody know where the favorites list is stored and how it can be manipulated? This is of course only a workaround, since every new form in the library would made an update of the list neccessary.
Note: we are not using Sharepoint and don´t intend to do so.
Any suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks.
Best regards
Rolf
