    Limit returned query using paramters

    Hi there

I was wondering if there was a way to have a repeating table and, using the query option within a command button, return a query based on paramters on the form.

For example, if there was a text field and a user inputted a date and then pressed the query button, the query would return only the dates after the date within the text box?

Anyone know if this is possible? preferably withot code? Also, if it is, perhaps someone could give me an idea on how to do it.

     Thanks very much:)

    Hi Pablavo,

    What are you querying?

If it's XML, you can use a filter.

If it's a SharePoint list or SQL table, you can do it client side using a filter, but that means you will still pull all data down to client. To prevent pulling all of the data down, we developed a Web Service that runs on the server. It significantly improves performance for query and simplifies integration. Hope something here helped...
