Error reading form template: "customized ID attributes"

Hi, I am writing an application that creates InfoPath form templates from scratch (migrated from another technology) Most templates work, but with one template in particular, infopath is reporting this error when I open it in fill-out-the-form mode: Form template: file://xxx.xsn InfoPath cannot open the following view: View 1 The following view file is not valid: view1.xsl The view (.xsl) file contains customized ID attributes. Because InfoPath automatically generates ID attributes in .xsl files, this view cannot be supported. To use this view in the form, you must remove the customized ID attributes. Any idea what would cause this error? Most InfoPath errors are descriptive enough to track down a bug in the template, but this one isn't that helpful. BTW, if I load the template in design mode, then SAVE it, I still get the error when launching it in fill-in mode.

I figured out the problem. I had a DIV tag with an attribute named "ID". Removing that attribute fixed the problem.
