InfoPath Dev

Hi,

I am a newbie and only been involve with InfoPath for two months. Right now I am working on HR system using InfoPath and SharePoint.

I follow the following steps to publish the form:

1. File --> Publish
2. Select 'To a SharePoint server with or without InfoPath Forms Services'
3. Enter the location of SharePoint
4. Check 'Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser'
5. Specify the location for the form template
6. Publish

All this while I have no problem to publish the form. The network at the company where I work remotely from my office was down this morning. So the technical guy fix the network and restart the SharePoint server. Suddenly when I want to publish a form to the SharePoint server I receive the following error message:

* InfoPath cannot save the following form XXX. A device attached to the system is not functioning. *

 Kindly advise on this matter. Would really appreciate it if someone could reply this post as soon as possible.

It sounds like an issue in the SharePoint server itself, and not in your InfoPath form design. The best option is to consult with your network admin.

It is an issue in the SharePoint. My colleague and I delete the existing document library and create a new one. The InfoPath was publish to the old library. We did not change the location to the new library. That is why I receive the stated error.
