populate a table-type form based on database entry ( hard to explain )

what ive done is made a database with the fields i want and a form to submit and query data to and from that database. simple enough right? eh maybe for some but a new challange has slapped me. im trying to make a table kinda like the one i attached made in infopath as a second view and to auto populate based on entry's made from the primary form. or from the database which is where it all gets submitted anyhow. if you need more information id be happy to try and add more. but if you get the idea of what im talking about ...then any help is appreciated :) below is a preview kinda quickly made up but almost like this. the fields below the leave type is what im looking to have auto populated..based on the leave type. so i put in all the info in my form and select from drop down menu the leave type and it auto fills the slots under the leave type on the example below.

    PASS AND LEAVE TRACKER

    RANK

    LAST NAME

    FIRST NAME

    START LEAVE

    END LEAVE

    ORDINARY LEAVE

    PFC

    23-Aug-09

    SPC

    DOE

    JOHN

    22-Sep-09

    EMERGENCY LEAVE

    SSG

    29-May-09

    TRANS

    SFC

    25-May-09

So this would be another view in the same form that you use to submit the data to the database? You can add another query data connection in your form that queries the database where you are storing all your leave data. Then, for each of your leave types, you can add a repeating table bound to that data source. Filter each table according to leave type using table filters or conditional formatting.
