    Task panes

    Hi I am using Infopath 2003 is there any way of getting a custom taskpane to load to a specific view dependent on User Roles? Ideally what I am trying to achieve is being able to load up a help view for the customer and a help view for the administrator actioning the form after submission. Yours in hope.

    Hi,

    You need to write below code before switching the view (before opening a form)

    You can use below code to display the taskpane:

    HTMLTaskPane taskPane = (HTMLTaskPane)thisXDocument.View.Window.TaskPanes[0];

    taskPane.Visible = true;

    You can use below code to hide the taskpane:

    HTMLTaskPane taskPane = (HTMLTaskPane)thisXDocument.View.Window.TaskPanes[0];

    taskPane.Visible = false;
