Hi all and am I glad to have found this forum. I just hope some people can assist me in answering a few questions.
The role of my department in work is to assist other departments with service requests - completing enquiries, transactions etc...... At work, we have two seperate servers - a company wide one and our office uses our own unique server due to sensitive material we hold.
What I am hoping to design (and I am looking for you to tell me if this is possible) is to design a form using InfoPath that will sit on the intranet on the company-wide server. Now the problem is getting the form electronically to our office as we only use Lotus Notes as our email client. Is it possible for InfoPath to be used with Lotus Notes? So, could users either complete an online form and then email this by Lotus Notes or alternatively complete a form directly on Lotus Notes and then email this directly to a specified email account?
If the above is possible, what we'd then like to do is then every few days, "dump" all of the requests from the recipient email account onto our departmental server and from there, we'd like for certain fields from the form to autopopulate fields within a MySql database we use.
Is the above possible and if so, any pointers to assist me in cracking on with the project?
