We have just released an updated version of our Active Directory Web Service for InfoPath. The new Web Service adds two new methods and updates one. Here’s a list of the Web methods:
· Active Directory Web Service methods
o FindUsersByAlias: New! Find any users with an alias matching the specified search string.
o FindUsersByName: New! Find any users with a name matching the specified search string.
o GetEmployeesForManager: Returns a list of employees reporting to the specified manager.
o GetManagerAlias: Updated! Returns the alias for a user's manager if one is set.
o GetMyInfo: Gives the Active Directory properties of the currently Logged In user.
o GetUserInfo: Gives the Active Directory properties of the specified user name.
o IsUserMemberOfGroup: Returns true if the user is part of the specified group.
