Submitted form in now in Body of Email Question

So my customer has filled out a form i created...one portion of this form was a text box where i made it have the ability to expand to allow for paragraphs of data to be entered.  The actual text box size is approx 3 lines when you look at it on the form.  They fill it out, type in approx 10 lines of data, the block expands as the type.  They finish, submit the form to me...i have it set to just submit the form to my email, it shows in the body of the email(no attachment, just in the body of the email). Now when go down to the box where they would have typed 10 lines of data, my form only shows 3(the amount that initially shows in the form before being filled out).  I know they typed 10 lines but the box doesn't show the expanded version that allows for all 10 lines.

Why isn't the submitted form located in the body of my email showing the expanded version.  It is cutting off the data.

    Thank you for your time

    Hi, Terry:

Welcome to the forum. I hope someone else knows why controls don't always render in email the way they do in a form -- it makes me a bit crazy sometimes, emailing myself to see how my form looks. One thing you could do is add a boolean (true / false) field to your form and right before the rule where you send the email, set the field to true.... after you email, set it to false. Use that field to toggle some conditional formatting -- hide the auto-expanding text box control and instead display an expression box connected to the same field as the text box. I've found that expression boxes generally behave themselves in email.....
