    Hi John,
    Welcome to the Board!
    Your form should be fully trusted form if you want to open an IE page from InfoPath managed code.
    Here is the code that can be used to open an IE page from InfoPath managed code.

    System.Diagnostics.Process proc = new System.Diagnostics.Process();
    proc.EnableRaisingEvents=false;
    proc.StartInfo.FileName="iexplore";
    proc.StartInfo.Arguments="http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=319";
    proc.Start();
    proc.Close();
    proc.Dispose();
    proc = null;

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

    ... just an additional short note.

    If you use "web-enabled" forms with "Forms Server" you have to keep in mind that the worker process (ASPNet_wp.exe) runs with a weak account (by default) which don't have permission to interact with desktop.

    Please have a look at the following KB article by Microsoft for a solution...

    Regards,

    Karsten
