I have implemented a call to custom web service from InfoPath Browser enabled form. The result of the web service fills in a dropdown. When a "New" document is opened, the web service call fails with no data in the dropdown. The typical "no value added" error message about the event log is shown. But when the browser is refreshed, the call to web service is successfully made and the dropdown is loaded with the web service result.
Any idea, what is causing this behaviour ? This did not happen on DEV or QA servers but only on PROD server.
The InfoPath form has no code behind. It is implemented with just rules and conditional formatting.
Any thoughts appreciated.
