This is a great article but it doesnt seem to be applicable for InfoPath 2007

Does anybody know how to do this in InfoPath 2007?

Although the tutorial was written for InfoPath 2003, I think you should be able to accomplish the same thing in IP2007, but the steps will be a little different.  However, this tutorial describes something that is not best practice: manually editing the view XSL.  I think a better solution for you would be to populate the listbox from a secondary data connection as described in the tutorial below, and then use code to manipulate that DOM, if necessary.

Thanks for the post. my main goal was to display two table columns in the single "Display Name" of the Pull-Down and the third Table column as the "Value"

I found a couple blogs on modifying the XSL file but it wouldn't let me publish a web enabled form with the modified XSL.

I solved the problem by simply creating a SQL Data Connection with the following query (I had to remove some whitespace, hence the 'replace')

SELECT col1, (replace(col2, ' ','') + ' - ' + col3)

Which accomplished exactly what I needed.

 Hi all,

 Just wondering that if one wanted to populate a drop down list from a datasource not available through an InfoPath datasource (in my case Active Directory) how you would go about that? It seems that through managed c# code I can't get access to the "Populate List From:" property?
