Good day,

 I need a formula that does the following on the "Reporting Qtr" field

If Cal_Month = "Oct" or "Nov" or "Dec" Reporting Qtr = 1,

if Cal_Month = "Jan" or "Feb" or "Mar" Reporting_Qtr= 2

if Cal_Month = "Apr" or "May" or "Jun" Reporting_Qtr= 3

if Cal_ Month = "Jul" or "Aug" or "Sep" Reporting_Qtr= 4

I also need a formula for the "FiscalYr" field, which is based on the Cal_Month field result 

---If Reporting_Qtr=1 then FiscalYr = Calendar_Yr +1

Else FiscalYr = Calendar_Yr.

if Cal_ Month = "Jul" or "Aug" or "Sep" Reporting_Qtr= 4

should be rules on the Cal_Month field, so that when it changes, a rule sets the value of the Reporting_Qtr field. The part in bold is the condition on your rule and the underlined portion is the action.
