Hello,

Is there a way to automatically refresh a Infopath form after filling it (after submit is pressed)?
I want to be able to also edit what was previously entered and I need it to refresh its data connection so it could "see" the added items since it was first open.
I hope I don't sound confusing.

Hi Monica and welcome to our forum!
Are you submitting your form to a database, SharePoint site, or Web service/ You'll likely need to add a button to requery the form and display any new data. That button will have to use a Retrieve Data Connection that you define against the same data source as you are submitting too.

Yes, you can update the form from the issue list. I believe Matt Faus wrote a HowTo on integration with SharePoint lists. There's also an example in my book (Chapter 9 I believe on SharePoint). You should be able to set up a rule on your submit button that requeries the SharePoint site after calling UpdateItems. Set up a SharePoint retrieve data connection for a SharePoint list and requery that as part of the rules behind your submit button.

I am trying to do the same thing, only with an access database and no share point. Is this possible? Thank you.
