    Changing Infopath Form view when workflow started

     I created a form with two views(Employee and Supervisor).While creating a new instance of that form it should be in Employee view

    and when workflow is started then it should be in Supervisor view so that it could be approved or rejected. And I did it by using c# code for this form

    Please help me in solving this problem

    Hi,

    First get the work flow status from SharePoint and set it in to a field in your form. By following these steps you can get the Work flow status into your form.

    1.  Take the secondary data connection as Receive data connection to SharePoint list (Make sure that Work flow column check box in data connection wizard is checked).
    2.  Add a status field in form and bind that field to Work flow column from SharePoint by filtering the value using file name (Make sure that your file name should be unique).

    Then in onload add a rule so that if work flow status field is equal to ‘2’ (generally the work flow column will be ‘2’ for In Progress forms) then switch to ‘Supervisor’ view. To do this follow these steps

    1. Go to Tools->Form Options.
    2. Select Open and Save category in Form Options window.
    3. Click on Rules button.
    4. Click on Set Condition button.
    5. Set the condition work flow status field is equal to ‘2’. Then Click ok.
    6. Click on Add->Add Action.
    7. In Action window select Switch Views.
    8. Select ‘Supervisor’ view.
    9. Click Ok until all the windows get closed.
