Hi Everyone,

I have successfully been using Purchased (From Globalsign) Digital certificates with infopath 2007 and sharepoint 2007.

Recently I have been using Infopath 2010 on Sharepoint 2007 also with no problems at all.

Very recently I have moved the form from sharepoint 2007 to sharepoint 2010.  I upgraded the form from  from 'web browser form (infopath2007)' to 'Web Browser form' in the advanced form properties/Compatibility, but otherwise that is the biggest upgrade I have made to the form (other than submit options etc).

Now when staff try to use their digital certificate they get the error:  Untrusted signature - The Trust chain cannot be verified

They are using the same digital certificates that they were issued with previously by Globalsign, and a re-issue of the certificate has had no affect.

Is this a regular thing or is there a setting in Sharepoint 2010 that I need to change to make digital certificates work?

If you migrated Sharepoint Server from 2007 to 2010, then you should have exported the certificate from 2007 and installed it in Sharepoint Server 2010. Though,

this, IMO, has invalidated the old certificate. Again, IMO, you should now re-sign the forms with a new certificate
