I have an Infopath web-based form based on a Web Service.
The web method I'm using as the main data source for the form gives me a complex type (it has collections of complex types). Infopath draws it nicely (with sections and repeating sections inside for the collections) and passes the type to the submit method too.
Now I've added secondary data sources to uses as lookups.
When I connect these data sources to the fields of the simple group at the top level (which represents the actual type) it works. BUT when I connect a lookup data source to a filed inside a repeating group at one of the deeper levels (which represent a collection of a related type) Design Checker throws the SOAP exception: Server was unable to process request. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I spent hours searching the Net for an answer but still can't figure it out. I need help!
