Hello,
I've have a user encountering the following error when trying to open an InfoPath 2003 form using Vista/Office 2007 PC:
InfoPath cannot open the following file: http://infopathform/location/location The form contains schema validation errors.
Details: Element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-09-17T21:26:49}SWbutton' is unexpected according to content model of parent element '{
http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-09-17T21:26:49}Sec1_section'.
Expecting: {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-09-17T21:26:49}PO_button, {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office....
She can successfully open any of the existing InfoPath forms that were created using the same InfoPath 2003 template when using her PC that is running XP and Office 2003. Now that she has a new PC running Vista and Office 2007 some of the IP2003 files she can open.....others she can not and they get the error message above. I get that the message is telling me a new control was encountered in the schema becuase we did make some updates to the template, but why are only specific files affected and not others since they were all created using the same template?
Anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this?
