Hi all,

 i am new to share point i want to send mail to infopath form. form that mail form data will be filled once click

on submit that should be submit to the list as well as database. please tell me how to do it?.

You'll want to use a rule with multiple actoins. One action submits to the database and another to e-mail or a SharePoint form library. Submitting to a SharePoint list is not support out-of-the-box. We have a tool that does it, but a Form Library is easy to set up and that doesn't require anything special. If you need a SharePoint list (and not a SharePoint form library), we can show you our tool. Hopefully, you can just use a SharePoint form library in addition to your database. Best of luck!

I am new to InfoPath. I have created one InfoPath form to submit the data to databse. But I want to add one more functionality. i.e. I want to submit the data to email as well. Please tell me how to submit an InfoPath form to email and as well as Database?

Hello,

You can add two actions to the button rules, one is to submit data to database and second action sends email.
Adding rules
1. Double click on button to open button properties dialog
2. Click on rules button in the button properties dialog.
3. Click on add button.
4. Click on add action button
5. Select "Submit using dataconnection"
6. Select database submit dataconnection.
7. Follow 5-6 steps and select "Email" dataconnection instead of database connection.
8. Click ok to set the rules.

Thanks for your quicker response. I can not find rules button in the button properties dialog. I am using InfoPath 2003. Please advise.

Follow the below steps to find the Rules buttin in the Button Properties.

1. Double click on the Button to open Properties window.
2. Select "Rules and Custome Code" from Action Dropdown.
3. Then you will find Rules button.
