Change the font color when user change the content of a control

    Hi,

I have a web based Infopath form as a part of my data entry application.(it is a web based application.) When user open the form for editing a record, i need to change the font color.

e.g. When user open the form, last name text box has value "ABC" and when user change it to "XYZ", i need to change the font color to BLUE.

Can any body suggest any VSTA code or other option to do it?

    Thanks in advance,

    BhaveshC

    Hello,

We do not have option to change the font color through the code. For this you have add two fields in your form and add conditional formatting for those fields. Based on your requirement you can add the conditional formatting for normal text box and blue colored text box.

Re: Change the font color when user change the content of a control

I have a 6 views in a single XSN file, each containing 15-20 data entry fields. I can set conditional formatting for each control to have a text color as blue when the content of that text box gets changed but for that i have to keep similar number of hidden control which will act as a flag for conditional formatting which i think is not good as there will be too many fields in the data source. (almost double then the control on GUI).

thanks for the reply. This is the business requirement of the application that on modification of a text, colou should be turned to blue.
