Hi,

I am using InfoPath 2007.

I have a couple of  email submits set up and in each case I want to send just the active view.

When the user selects Save.  I go to a Confirm View - to ask Do they reallyl want to save.  If at this point the Choose Submit, the Submit Rules Run. 

In the Submit Rules I switch Views back to the 'Form View'.  Then send the Email.  But the Email I send is the Confirm View rather than the Form View.

Is this how Switching between Views should work ? 

Also when try to Switch Views twice within a Rules List I get error messages - is that normal ?

Hi Catherine.

Unfortunately it is not possible to switch views twice in one sequence.

However I have been able to do what you describe. User clicks submit, 1 action switches view, second action submits email with the view as the body.

Are you sure you are switching views then submiting to email?

I have done this with browser forms as well as client forms.  You may just need to play with it a bit more.
