I'm new to the forum. Plz guide me if i am on the wrong land. Anyhow, my issue is. I just wanna set a value using jQuery to a people picker control on window load. I am able to do that but i have cascading dropdowns on top of my people picker control so when i change values in that dropdowns "Sending data to the server" happens and my loaded data is disappears in the picker control. I know that it is loaded on the server when the picker control is sleeping. :) i mean that data is not sent back to the server so that there is no underline to the AccountID in the picker control.
So what i wanted is, i want anybody to suggest me how do i do the "Partial Postback" of my people picker control using my jquery after loading it.
Also please tell me if i am on the wrong way.
Note: The reason why i am approaching this way is, i have a list with 4 views for different purposes. I want to load my peoplepicker control with the currently logged in user on a singe and particular view. I tried to set a rule in the form load but it is firing for all the possible views on the list. Which is overloading the list values while editing. If this is possible with just rules, i can live with that.
Any kinda suggestions are greatly appreciated.
