I have two dropdown listboxes on my InfoPath form. The values in listbox #2 are determined by the selection in listbox #1. Thanks to forums like this one, I found a way to make this work. I bound an XML file to listbox #2 as a secondary data source and programmatically populate listbox #2.
My question is how do I persist the data and the selection in listbox #2 after the form is saved and later reopened?
As Greg suggested, I tried dragging a field from the Main data source to to listbox #2 but it wouldn't take. The field I tried to drag over was of the same name as the listbox, was that wrong?
I'm new to SharePoint and InfoPath, any help you can offer would be appreciated.
