    SQL Dataconnection displaying Infopath Webform

    My environment is MOSS 2007 sp1, Sql 2005 SP2, Infopath 2007 sp1

MOSS Server and SQL are on different machines, MOSS using Kerberos Authentication

Client form works fine until set the library to display forms as webform instead of client. I get the following error.

"An error occurred accessing a data source.
An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.

    Log ID:6932"

I have tried setting up SSO, but not sure how to configure it for infopath forms. SSO is running, and have setup an enterprise app.. (as group and windows auth). not sure how to set account information for this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is the "double hop" issue where IIS cannot pass the credentials to the SQL server.

Either use a set user for the cross server or try to get them together.

Search on double hop and you should find some more info.

Re: SQL Dataconnection displaying Infopath Webform

I agree it was probably due to the double hop which i believed would be solved by implementing Kerberos. Today, everything appears to be working. I changed the name to server name to the FQDN of the actual sql machine versus a DNS reference to the machine. The DNS reference had a registered SPN for MSSQLSvc...

This seems to have resolved my problem.

    Thanks for your reply.
