Hello,

I use a list and a document library webpart on a webpart page and connected both to filter the content in the document library. Everything works as expected...
Does anyone know if it´s possible to hide the linked column without loosing the complete webpart connection. I don´t want to see the linked column anymore because this column contains ID´s only and no text at all.

Unfortunately, in list views it is only possible to connect to the fields that are displayed in the view itself. If you have access to SharePoint Designer, you can change your lists to Data Views and then you have the ability to sort on any one column.
