Browser Forms Posting to SQL Server Databases

    Hi all,

I have a very specific requirement from a client and I shall describe it in what follows.  I need to create browser based forms to be filled out and placed in a forms library (simple so far) but the data in the filled out forms should not only be placed in SharePoint (which I do know puts that data into a SQL Sever database) but should be placed also (duplicated in some way) into another SQL Server database.  I don't mean that I need to parse SharePoint's internal database and place the data I get back into another database - that sounds very complex!  What I do mean is I need to take all the information the user typed into the form and place it in a separate SQL Server database.  So typically there will be a single table per form with n columns for n fields in that form.  Simple really.  This is duplication I guess but it is a requirement.  Also if a form is edited it's corresponding entry in our database would also need to change and if a form is deleted the corresponding entry would also need to be deleted.  In some detail does anyone know how this may be achieved.  I have a vague idea that I may be able to use event handlers or workflows in some way but I really would not know how exactly that may work.  Would there be a simpler way to do this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Sachin

Thanks for the reply Clay but our client wants us to develop the solution for them rather than buying a ready made one.
