Editing XHTML with a form control?

I am trying to use InfoPath to create a form that helps users create a document that conforms to strict standards.

The documents contain several sections that can each contain a different subset of elements such as text, lists, tables, images, headings.

The eventual XML output of the form will then be taken parsed and published out to various destinations in various formats (HTML, PDF, etc).

I have played around with the richtext control, but I am having trouble seeing how I could lock down the ‘sytle’ of the text to my subset of allowed elements.

Also the richtext control (obviously) outputs RTF format which is a little troublesome to convert into the XML that my downstream processes expect.

Is there a way to embed something like the FCK Editor into the InfoPath form, I know I can lock that down, and it will output XHTML.  Or is there any other way to get an XHTML editor with controls into the form?

    Cheers

This can be a challenge depending on how diverse the data and how many sources need to be created for consumption.

You can add custom controls which are Active X controls. Such as a pDF viewer or Windows media player, so You could check if there was anything available.

Or consult an InfoPath expert at Qdabra for some advice or consulting on your requirements and what could be possible. They are the ones who helped create it originally and would know what is possible.
