Error "Type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server...' is not marked serializable" (at browser form load)

After I set up our new MOSS 2007 (x64) SP1 I receive following error in the Browser during form load for forms with managed code:

    Type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.Xml.XPath.XPathNavigatorHost' in Assembly
    'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' is not marked as serializable.

The form has managed code with helperclasses that use serialization. But the same forms worked flawlessly on the MOSS 2007 (x86) prior to SP1.
    Addition info:

    • The "Load Form" dialog in the browser stays indefinetely
    • The form works well in InfoPath Clients
    • Design Checker in Infopath shows no errors
    • Browser compatibility checker (Verify on Server) shows no errors
    • Forms without my helperclasses are loaded without errors in the browser

Any idea how to solve this problem is much appreciated! I seem to lack the skills to overcome this by myself.

    Thank You,  Werner

    Hi,

Please check your web.config file for an entry for Infopath and register it as a safe control.

    Dear Bhavesh,

Thank you for the suggestion. In the meantime I found out that there is no way to to serialize XPathNavigator. I solved in supplying a new instance of the XPathNavigator everytime one is needed.

    Best, Werner
