I am having a problem with receiving two emails from a workflow I created usign sharepoint designer. Weird thing is that I have one workflow almost identical to this one associated with another form library and it functions correctly. I don't know what the problem could be. We are using MOSS 2007, exchange email system, outlook 2007, infopath 2007.
The work flow checks to see if the request is pending, if pending, it send an email to the supervisor for approval. Workflow then waits for approval and then sends confirmation email back to original user and then has a stop command. So should be two emails sent, one to the supervisor and one back to the employee. Well I get those two, and then the workflow cycles back through and I get the emails again. I know it cycles back through because in the email I promoted the status from the form and in the second round of emails it has the updated values.
Anyone have any ideas why it is doing this? It baffles me I have two near exact workflows that are doing two different things.
