We have a sharepoint 2007 site and I have created a form on infopath 2003.
The buttons on the form have a rule assigned which uploads the form to sharepoint and then emails the form to the relevent person. Randomly during testing it is failing to upload to sharepoint with the following message;
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
The form cannot be submitted to the following location:
http://ourcompany/sites/?????/??? ?????/???2008-04-14T17_29_54.xml
The site may be offline, read-only, or otherwise unavailable.
Unspecified error
Sometimes the form works completly fine, other times we recieve the message at the first submit, but if you close the message down and click on submit it will then work fine. The form has workflow on and it is sent to other people for approval, they too are having the random issue so it is not machine specific. A few other things;
- Our sharepoint site was recently upgraded from 2003 to 2007
- This is the first new form I have done since the upgrade, but the old forms that are still there work fine
- I have recreated the form library many times and also recreated it on a different site.
- The form library has the correct permissions assigned to it.
Any Ideas, i am completly stuck as sometimes it works sometimes it dosent!?
