Hi,

   I have a SharePoint list that contains 4 columns. ManagerID, ManagerName, AdminID, and AdminName. The manager field in Info path displays a list of ManagerName, but will enter the ManagerID as the Value. That part works fine. The field in InfoPath below the managerName is a text box called AdminName which I would like auto populated based on the selection of the Manager. Does anyone know what the formula would be in the text box to return the Admin name?

You would use a rule on the drop-down list that sets the AdminName. It gets the name from the secondary DOM that pulls its data from your SP list. To get the right name, you need to filter the list based on ManagerID = the selected value in the manager field.

You can use the InfoPath UI to do all of this, but pseudo-code-wise it would look something like:

Set field:AdminName = SpList/AdminName[../ManagerID = field:Manager]
